Energy Efficiency in Air Filtration

James Montgomery is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering working with Dr. Steve Rogak and Dr. Sheldon Green. His research focuses on reducing the energy use of building air filtration systems and improving indoor air quality. This is performed by both empirical modeling of air filter systems and experimental investigation of new nanofilter media. He is also an active member of the ASME student chapter at UBC.
